20190307 「家事を楽しむ方法とは?」What's on your to do list【6 minute English】

www.bbc.co.uk

URL https://korenare.com/housekeeping-kinds/

20190117 Is music getting faster?【6 minute English】

www.bbc.co.uk

今週の6 minute Englishのテーマは"Is music getting faster?"

ãé³æ¥½ ããªã¼ç´ æãã®ç»åæ¤ç´¢çµæ

"intro"とは"the instrumental piece of music that's played before the singing begins."

ã楽æ²ãæä¾ ããªã¼ç´ æãã®ç»åæ¤ç´¢çµæ

ãé³æ¥½ãã©ã¸ãªãããªã¼ç´ æãã®ç»åæ¤ç´¢çµæ

ãã¯ã¤ã¤ã¬ã¹ããããã³ã§é³æ¥½ã楽ããè¥ã女æ§ãï¼»ã¢ãã«ï¼å歳]

www.spotify.com

f:id:pipityann:20190120091203p:image

é¢é£ç»å

In 2017 Luis Fonsi's summer hit Despacito officially became the most streamed song of all time. Do you know approximately, how many times it was streamed? Was it:
a) 1.6 billion times,
b) 3.6 billion times, or
c) 4.6 billion times?

www.youtube.com

especially British English if people get on, they like each other and have a friendly relationship with each other

How is George getting on at school?

「続ける」を表す "get on"

「成功」を表す "get on"

20190110 The benefits of schadenfreude【6 minute English】

www.bbc.co.uk

今週の6 minute Englishのテーマは"The benefits of schadenfreude"でした。

今週のquestion

This is about false cognates – also called false friends - words that look the same in two languages but have different meanings. So in English we have the word 'rat' but what does that mean in German? Is it…

a) a big mouse
b) annoyed or
c) advice

the satisfying feeling you get when something bad happens to someone else

20181220 Buttons【6 minute English】

www.bbc.co.uk

We press hundreds of buttons every
week without thinking about it. Not everyone likes buttons though, particularly the ones we
have on our clothes. It’s a recognised phobia. What is this fear called? Is it

B: koumpounophobia, or
C: coulrophobia

Let's take the elevator!

Let's take the lift!
